Cole Annas, DVM is a graduate of North Carolina State University and Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Newton, North Carolina, he grew up raising and exhibiting Boer goats and beef cattle along with owning mules and donkeys. Throughout vet school Dr. Annas participated in numerous Cervidae (deer), small ruminant, and bovine reproductive internships and rotations developing a strong interest in embryo transfer and artificial insemination.
Laura has worked in veterinary medicine for almost 20 years. Originally from Ohio, Laura has a Shiba Inu (Skye), Cavalier (Chimi) and Cash, the cat!
Native to Kannapolis, Kristen has been in the veterinary field for 15 years. She currently resides with her husband and their three children along with their 6 dogs, a herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats and a flock of chickens. In her spare time she enjoys refinishing and restoring old furniture and spending time with family.
Rachel grew up in Mexico with her missionary family. She loves anything outdoors and being on the farm with her two kids, seven Nubian goats, three horses, two dogs and too many chickens, ducks and guineas to count. She has been a part of veterinary medicine for six years.
Shanna is from Salisbury, NC and graduated from NC State in 2016 with a BS in Poultry Science. She completed her Associates in Veterinary Technology in December 2020 & is now a licensed technician. Shanna has been in the veterinary field for 11 years, and spent the last 5 years at a specialty/emergency hospital. She loves emergency medicine. She currently lives in Rockwell with her husband (Brice), two dogs (Briley & Case), and a cat (Mittens).
Kate is a proud mom of three human babies and Lilly, a Beagle and Canaan mix. She moved to Salisbury from New York in 2007 with her husband that works in the racing industry. She has worked in veterinary medicine for 13 years.
Her Border Collie, Mac, her female tabby cat named Arnold, a horse, a pony and approximately 50 head of sheep and goats also reside at the Connolly residence.. She enjoys raising and showing market sheep and goats. A 2020 West Rowan High School graduate, Cindy is currently pursing a Agribusiness degree.
Rebekah was born and raised in China Grove. Her and her husband, Ronald have three dogs (Roxie, Annie & Deuce), a horse (Speck), goats and chickens. She has been apart of veterinary medicine for six years and has been a groomer for the past nine years.
Katie graduated from West Rowan High School in 2010 and has been a pet groomer for seven years. In addition to baking Katie spends time with her her two dogs, Dixie (a lab mix) and Archie Thomas (a Bernedoodle).
Native to Statesville, NC, Jessica graduated from NIHS in 2006. Jessica and her husband, Matt, have two girls, along with multiple horses, dogs, goats, chickens, and a cat. Jessica worked for several years at a general practice/emergency hospital. In her time away from work Jessica is usually in the barn or enjoying time with her husband and kids. She loves to be outside and participates in rodeos with her husband and kids.
Mackenzie is from Lexington, NC where she still lives on her family’s farm with her two dogs, Oscar (a mini schnauzer) and Max (a Great Pyrenees), horses, cows, chickens, and pigs. Her favorite thing to do is be outside spending time with her family and animals.
Madison was born and raised on her family’s ranch in China Grove, NC. She grew up around every farm and exotic animal you could think of. Madison is homeschooled and spends her weekends traveling and competing in high school rodeos.
